Metro West District is the governing body of competitive swimming within the western suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne. At the start of 2011 the district will be comprised of 20 clubs ranging from inner city suburbs to regional metropolitan areas.

 

The District plays a key role in the development of swimmers in Melbourne's west, and over the past fifty years has seen athletes go on to represent their clubs at State, National & International levels.

 

The District stages an Annual MSAC Meet, Long Course & Sprint Championships, as well as qualification heats for Swimming Victoria's All Junior & 7-10 Competitions.
